Portola Valley Pony Club: Application for Membership
To join Pony Club, you need to complete both a national (USPC) membership application and a local (PVPC) membership application. You also need to pay the required membership fee for Middle California Region Pony Club (no separate application form). Forms with original signatures plus a single check made out to PVPC should be mailed to the Club's District Commissioner. Portola Valley Pony Club: Application to be a Club Sponsor
US Pony Clubs Inc requires registered Clubs like PVPC to have at least five official Club Sponsors. They are typically parents of youth members or Horsemaster members. (Youth members are not permitted to be Club Sponsors, even if they are over the age of 18.) To be a Club Sponsor costs $10 per year in addition to membership fees. Parents and Horsemasters are not required to be Sponsors! The main responsibility of a Sponsor is to attend one or two meetings per year in person to vote on matters such as the budget and officers for the next year, to make amendments to the Club's policies, and to assist the officers in planning the Club's programs and priorities. If you wish to be a Club Sponsor, please return the form with a check for $10 made out to PVPC to the Club's District Commissioner. For questions, email pvpcdc@gmail.com
